I recall a conversation with my dean a few years ago, in which he discussed the possibility of spending a ridiculous amount of money on mannequins for Banned Books Week, for reasons I can’t quite remember.

And yet, I highly doubt I could convince him or my department head to purchase this study guide for me, much less one of the $300 workshop videos.
