One of my students (a dude, of fucking course), just to spite me…wrote an entire argumentative essay on egalitarianism. There’s was a whole lot of “sexism against anyone is baaaaaaad.” And there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it because it was clear and well-researched.
I may take it out in the backyard later and let my dog pee on it though…
>one of my students wrote a clear, well-researched essay about something he cares about, which I happen to disagree with.
>Fucking “Egalitarians” think everything should be about them.
>He must have done it just to spite me
>I want to wreck his grades but I can’t because it’s an objectively good essay.
>I’ll let my dog pee on his hard work. That’ll show the spiteful bastard.

Seriously, you are in a position of power over him. Males are increasingly underrepresented in academic settings. Even by your own distorted definition of the word sexism, you can be sexist toward male students, and your sexism can have a negative impact on their future. So stop.
It was me, actually. And for the millionth time, the dog peeing on the essay was a joke. You’re free to look at my blog for a lengthier response.
No, white men are not underrepresented. That’s a massive fucking joke.
You people are aware that the power + prejudice definitions of racism and sexism aren’t specific to tumblr, right? Those ideas are prevalent in the textbooks I’ve taught from since I began teaching.
